Richa Fernandes, Assistant Psychologist
Richa has extensive experience working with a diverse client population in India before moving to the UK to pursue a second Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. Her professional expertise spans both clinical practice and research, with a focus on practical applications aimed at enhancing mental health outcomes.
As a researcher, Richa has examined the impact of English as a Second Language (EASL) on academic anxiety and evaluated the effectiveness of Psychological Perspectives in Primary Care (PPEPCare) training for school staff in Berkshire, Oxfordshire, and Hampshire. Her work highlights the importance of mental health support within educational settings.
Clinically, Richa has a particular interest in the intersection of trauma and neurodivergence, exploring how these factors shape mental health and behaviour. She is currently employed at The Cherrycroft Practice in Bagshot, where she works with children and young people.
